Data Center Hardware Support Technician - Shift Lead

NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Data Center Hardware Support Technician - Shift Lead to join our team in Quincy, Washington (US-WA), United States (US).
Roles Responsibilities:
Management of work orders in the queue:
Performing QA checks on work orders
Pull daily tapes for ATL and prepare for Iron Mountain pickup
Receive tapes from Iron Mountain delivery and place back into ATL
Add scratch tapes to ATL per Backup Team requests via e-mail or Service- Now request
Review, track and update Service-Now Request, Incidents and Change Control tickets assigned to DC Operations
Answering Phone Calls
Provide scheduled shift reports; Assigning technicians and scheduling shift activity
Training and mentoring technicians
Day to day delivery of all move, add change (MAC) requests including hardware installs and network cabling
Completing hardware break/fix tickets such as troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues and replacement of hardware components
Performing backup tape operations and amber light tours
Server reboot as requested
Server crash cart connections and assist in troubleshooting boot-up/reboot issues
Provide server support by swapping or reseating hard drives and memory DIMMS as requested
Track and update Change Control, Daily Logs and E-mail communications related to Facility's weekly and monthly generator start-up and transfer test (work performed after-hours)
Checking supplies in and out from inventory management system; Keeping inventory current through the use of DC Portal
Maintaining work area in a safe and orderly manner. Tools and supplies are properly put away after every shift.
Communicating with peer lead technician from other shifts for operational handoffs
Providing data center escorts as requested
Shifts: Day and Night (7am ? 7:30pm ; 7pm ? 7:30am)
Basic Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
2+ years IT Experience
Data Center and/or server hardware experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
2 year associates degree
2 IT certificate program
A+ certificate
Service- Now Ticketing Tool

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
